So I bumped into an old friend today, the Wal-mart where I work is undergoing renovations so we've had people in to do a fire watch while the electrical crew works at night... Tonight I was surprised to see the fire watch person was an old friend of mine...
We got caught up, and ended up talking about other people from our old group. Me: I should give Jimmy a call sometime... Friend: He doesn't really hang out with people anymore, I haven't seen him since Mark's funeral Me: Mark's dead? I haven't seen Mark since he moved away to BC a few years back thought I talked to him online a couple times since the. Apparently he died last year from a blood-clot in his leg that moved up to his heart, there was very little warning. He was an amazing artist and a really funny guy... I was really fond of him. I'm going to have to catch up with some of my old friends...

I went through something similar, which is why I joined Facebook. I'm terrible at keeping in touch with people and spend too much time with acquaintances and not enough time with or in communication with friends.

I found out my best friend, whom I'd had a falling out with over some petty shit, had been shot and killed. I found this out trying to track him down to be a groomsman in my wedding. I missed the funeral and everything. I think about him everyday. I loved him so much and I let our friendship slip away over nothing. I'll never forgive myself.

Talking about it helps! Wow Blayze I'm sorry to hear that... Yeah I'm feeling a little bit bad... I managed to drift away from that whole group because of drama with an ex and now I feel like I really missed out.

Thats bad..sorry to hear that...those leg clot things are really getting a lot of people I have been hearing about recenlty. 2 clients I did work for over the least 3 weeks had loved ones die by a clot that formed in thier legs. One was an AA pilot who did long distance flights, doc said thats wht caused his was he wasn't very mobile for long periodsof time. Th eother worked for CIsco as a programmer, again sat for 8-12 hours a day working on programs. Both were Embolisms that formed in the lower legs.

This guy had a genetic defect that left his legs mostly paralyzed... he used to use canes but eventually just started using a wheel chair.
