I had a similar experience a few weeks ago.
In my town is a small market stall which sells a ton of different stuff including overstock toys. Well as i walk towards it i see a huge mound of boxes. They had 7 MISB DC Super Powers Hall of Justice from 1984! Which can be see half way down this page. X-E - DC Comics Super Powers! I checked on ebay UK and there were already about 10 for auction in the UK from different parts of the country so someone must have found a ton of these. Keep in mind the box is about the same size as a ROC Pitt, i wonder where these had come from and how anyone missed them for the last 26 years!?! The price......£5 ($7.50) i guess no one is interested in them though because most of the auctions ended at about £15 ($22)

I live in Green Bay WI and I fondly remember the Evans in Two Rivers and Kewaunee. My Grandma lived in Kewaunee and my brother and I would get to visit her from time to time. Their Toys were always in the basement. The Kewaunee store was smaller but the Two River store was awesome. I would drive to the Two Rivers one in the 90s and old Lego Sets and other early 90's toylines. It was like going back in time. The Kewaunee store closed about 5 years ago and the Two Rivers one 2 years. It was sad day when I read it in the paper. I went to the store one last time when they were closing and bought a wire rack display for $20 to put my vintage Star Wars figures on. That way I'll always remember the store.

and... closure.
The TRU closed, and after repeated checking in's , they had a few mid '90's comic packs come in and out, and a few cases of older SW figs from 1999-2005 come in and out, with a few older Gen. Grievous TRU exclusives from about 4 years ago. Nothing more noteworthy. Funny enough, even at 70% off in the last few days, the IM2 figs were densely packed in, with absolutely no movement. That doesn't bode well for that overstocked IM line for the next 6-9 months, and for any chance we'll see the later figs from that line.. Sad. I was hoping to scoop up some of the LEGO display cases, with the cool dio's, but man.. that whole section emptied out mad early, at the 20% off stage.. Early Christmas shopping, no doubt. On a better note, I did pick up 2 Secret Wars Doom Rollers when they first hit the shelves, if anyone is interested?
