When I was growing up my best friend and I always said we wanted to both work at Toys R Us unloading trucks so we could get the newest WWF Hasbro figures. Now all these years later I still think a seasonal job at a Toy store would be fun.
Is there any Tankers out there that have worked at Toys R Us or that still work at one? Also, what is it like there? Are the hours flexible? Really just wanting to know a little about this store from an employee standpoint. |

I haven't but seeing as how I'm getting laid off in September maybe I'll give them a shot.

I got a couple friends who've worked for them before in different stores. They said it was pretty laid back as far as retail goes, but paid like crap.

Depends on the boss really. Can't say much more, could actually get fired for voicing an opinion.

My girl used to work at the TRU in Las Vegas. In short, the pay sucked, management was even worse, and forget about getting paid for overtime.

Do you not see the kinds of people you'll have to deal with??!? Imagine them trying to swindle their way around a nonexistent street date and you're the only one in the way of them and "the back".
