Some sites allow for streaming pron videos specifically for the iPhone - which is what I have. Now, no trip to the bathroom is ever boring or simply utilitarian. My iPhone has made me regular since I now go to the bathroom at least 4 times a day. So along with everything, smartphones also have medical benefits.

Gee whiz, King - if you have the Virgin Mobile Prepaid, roll with it.

for years I resisted all this smartphone crap cause I want to make a phone call, not contact the starship Enterprise or indulge in "thumb technology".
However, seeing that the market is beginning to move away from simple phones (and the simple phones being less simple) I just may so what phone do you think I should get? Right now I have virgin mobile prepaid... Nobody knows your need better than you do so why not do the proper diligence and compare your goals with the value of the proposed equipment? Now, if you do decide to go with it, I can definitely tell you which ones to avoid. |

Can you imagine what the Pyramid of Darkness would do to society now???
The world would surrender in less than a day. COBRA Commander was waaaaaaaaay ahead of his time on that one.

Well Ray....it is either the Android OS or iPhone OS. If you plan to stick with Virgin Prepaid, the best you can do is the BB Curve. Blackberry is a good phone and good OS. As you know, I had a Curve for more than 2 years. 100% reliable. Apps were sometimes an issue, but I think that had to do with TMobile not having the best 3G network. You can't really go wrong with a BB IMHO, but they have taken a beating in the market lately. They have not fully recovered from the Storm launch IMO. I can't think of any prepaid carriers that have REALLY good smartphones outside of the BB platform.
This is a link I put on my FB page. I recommend you read it: Which Phone Should I Buy? Smartphone Summer Edition If you plan to leave Virgin, be ready to pay. With Sprint the flagship is the HTC EVO 4G. My EVO was $199 with a 2 yr contract. Then another $10/mo as a premium data charge and another $29.99/mo to enable the hotspot feature on it. Samsung is coming out with the Epic soon which will for all intents and purposes be considered EVO-lite. The only phone that can hang with the EVO is the Droid X. Verizon's, the top 2 are the X and HTC Incredible. You can probably get the Original Droid for a good price if you want an awesome "entry level" phone. All the above are the Android OS by Google. I put the X, Incredible and EVO all in the same class. TMobile has the myTouch 3G Slide and HTC HD2 as their big phones. Both are solid units. AT&T has the mini-X/mini-EVO called the Aria. Again, Android OS - a bit small, but can't go wrong. Then there is the iPhone... Hold off until the 4G issues are settled. Or, just go with the older 3GS. It is a great time to be in the market for a smartphone. You have tons of options and choices now. No longer do you have to go the Apple route to get a truly super phone. Options are good for the market and getting better phones in the future. So whatever route you go, provided you want to pay, you can't go wrong.

KOP, You know me...I would never steer you in the wrong direction.
iPhone. I love mine (had the 8gig 3G now I have the iPhone 4) and I can't imagine having anything else. Don't know how fast they are in Boston but I'd give it a try. |
