That's the problem with bonuses and overtime. People begin to depend on them instead of taking them for what they are-extras.
I had a guy get hurt at work last December and he was barely able to make ends meet after he saw what Worker's Comp was going to pay him. He was making half his salary in OT alone. Not good when you start to expect that every week and then it's gone. |

That's still a dick move on your companies part though. I can hold a candle to the "don't count your overtime/bonus before it's paid" idea, but really now.
It will work out. I just paid my last full month of Day Care (they bill a month ahead) and starting in September my payments go from $1200 a month down to $300. So, after 3 or 4 months of crap I found that pinprick of light at the end. You will too sir.

wow. sorry to hear man, that's a straight run of misfortune.
These times, unemployment hovering near 10%, and employers hold all the cards. Was told when our raises were so low that we should be happy to have a job. F that. They should be happy to have employees that work hard for peanuts. This world needs a revolution. Keeps things fresh.
