Looking at new vehicles, and saw this charger that I'm a big fan of. Anyways, there's a body part that is damaged/dented, and I was wondering if anyone knew what it was called so I can see how much/difficult it would be to replace it. Or if you had that information off the top of your head, that'd be awesome.
Hopefully you can see the arrow in the picture, it's the very bottom of the body, seems as if it's a 'plastic' piece at the bottom that runs the length from one wheel to the other. |

Think it's a rocker panel.

Rocker panel cover. My wife tore mine off on ours in Fresno. Fairly easy repair. Finding the part for cheap is hard. I found one in Oakland grabbed it and a small shop painted and installed for 100. So it could be less than 200 if you look around.

Check Macco..they may be able to repair and paint it for a decent price. They did a great paint job on my '00 Mustang GT.

Rocker panel -
Pretty easy to fix for CAR or BODY people - NOT average joe (no pun intended Price - doing it RIGHT, probably not REAL cheap Doing half assed - eh..........???? $under $300 ? - I doubt it, not w/o it looking like $300 :( To do it right is going to be a bit of $$ but not a ton. Biggest thing is that color, it's hard to hide &*^% ups, and hard to make it look right b/c the color is so bright. Not a deal breaker on the car for me, but if I were buying it I'd make it part of the deal to make life easy ( "I'll pay _____, but YOU get the rocker fixed and painted RIGHT before I take the car" ) My humble professional advice of more than 20 years for what it's worth and just cost you I love the color although it WILL attract attention (read - cops), if it's got the Hemi it will FLY I had a Ram w/ the Hemi and ran like a raped ape (fast as shit). PS - if it does have the Hemi factor in tires and gas into you overall cost of ownership b/c it is GOING to go through them probably big time.

Yeah it's a gas guzzler but those rims indicate it's a 3.5 liter not the hemi and the cost will be around 3 bills to fix. I got lucky with mine.

I'll bet yours is NOT bright red either. That color is a bitch to match / fade in - but it looks great. $300 ? Yeah that's on the cheap end / had a buddy do it price, or you got REAL lucky and got a used part.
