Just curious if anyone here has any insight into a Hyundai Entourage (a rebaged Kia Sedona. I see that it is a rebadged Kia Sedona. We need to upgrade Graces mustang into a baby mover. The dealer has quoted us $11,000 price for the mustang and we are thinking of using that to pick up a 2007 Entourage with all the bells and whistles.

Kia and Hyundai's are both getting good reviews in Consumer Reports. Good choices.

I own a 2003 Kia, and would never buy another one again. We haven't had any major issues, but it's the little things that are irritating. Here are my major issues:
The plastics they used are horrible, and don't last longer than a couple of years. For example, the housing for my brake light has completely disintegrated from sun exposure. The glue holding the dash board together doesn't last, and just about every seam has pulled apart. The electric window motors have failed twice on the driver's side door. Door sensor doesn't work, and it says my door is ajar 100% of the time. I've replaced the bulbs for the headlights more often than I have in my Mazda, and the Mazda is 15+ years old. |

I am buying a Escape within the next few weeks once my wife and I nail down the color and accessories we want. The incentives are decent on the 10 models. I like Ford because of the resale. I have had friends buy a Hyundai and not be able to sell them for what is owed. The deprecation is horrible on the Hyundai. I have never had a problem selling a Ford vehicle. When I buy a vehicle I always try to look down the road in case something happens and I have to sell it.

I say it to everyone that's looking for a new car...
Thundercougarfalconbird. In all honesty it really depends on the actual car. Sometimes they may be the same car, but the re-design is better. If the dealer really wants your money, they will let you test drive it for a day, maybe even more (I asked for 3). I never thought I would be driving a Jetta, but after spending a week with the car I thought it was great.

Chopz I like Ford cars, but they just seem so expensive. I'm pretty sure that a Toyota Highlander will be our next purchase. |

Dude I use to work for Hyundai Motor America (Corporate Office) for 5 years and I can honestly say the Entourage is a very well built minivan and would be an extremely good choice. I'm not a minivan guy (sorry disclaimer to keep my man card lol) but you won't be disappointed and it will definitely keep you safe!

The KIA brand is awesome. I owned Toyotas for years and always was not real pleased. I now own a KIA Rio 5 and Forte both are 2009 and they are awesome. Great gas mileage and well built. I would not consider another car. BTW I was raised in a big time Ford/Chevy household. My grandfather and his brother are both retired Ford Motor workers. So I guess you can say I have seen a lot of different Fords and even some Chevy
