Everyone jumps to the conclusion that you are in the right, just because you are tank member. Maybe they have a reason to say you you lied. Not saying you did but for me to make a suggestion i would like to know the whole story. I have been screwed by sellers before for mis representing there items...

Paypal still has $2700 of mine if frozen funds. Even after I took eBay and paypal to court and won, I got a nice check for $5000 for lost revenue and overcharged fees and losses from each company. (the nice part about them claiming to be seperate entities.) But the original account is still frozen as was my ebay account with over 2000 positive reviews and a 99% rating. I try not to use anything affiliated with paypal at all because of this, if I do I use a prepaid credit card and only if I'm sent an invoice because I refuse to create another account.
And yes they can withdraw funds from your account if they have the information. They use some ninja loopholes in the paypal and ebay user agreements to do it. I actually have a 34 page customer service inquiry where i was given a 4 hour cirlce jerk with ebay customer support being passed between the same three departments and no managers. Even if you can get phone numbers for Ebay staff and executives, they have a policy to screen all phone calls...and they never call you back. My story is a long one to tell here, but it only took me 3 years to get my day in court and get my damages. but it involved the complicated difference in policies between ebay and paypal on pre-sales. Most people don't know that even though you have a good amount of time to presale on ebay, that if you don't ship within 72 hours paypal can cancel the transaction and freeze your accounts. They don't do it to everybody, I used to pre-sell magic the gathering cards, had a good business doing it, but one day me and about 5 other people (out of 50) got hammered by their policy while others were unscathed. It was a horible ordeal. Basically Paypal and Ebay opperate and stay affloat by having millions of dollars in frozen accounts. it is insane. If you like this is my favorite website for info about dealing with them (the bottom line most times is avoid them at all costs.) But this is a site where people share their horror stories, some affecting things on a personal level and others who lost small businesses because of loopholes that ebay/paypal use in their agreements. You can actually credit card purchase something on ebay, have it shipped to you with a dilivery confirmation, signature confirmation. Then threaten to cancel your credit card transaction and get refunded your money. paypal ebay does not want to have charge backs on their record, if they get a lot of them they have to pay more or even loose their ability to work with some of the CC companies. Paypal/ebay is definately not a seller friendly enviornment and I personally can't wait until GoogleBids comes out and uses better bussiness practices and blows them out of the water. What's this about GoogleBids? I'm intrigued... It's about time Ebay got some competition.

Google it. lol
I think google bids was proposed in 2008 as competition for ebay and they wanted to have an actually customer support division. They supposedly won't go live until it is ready, and they will charge far less in fees. I waiting for them before I try to sell magic or anything else on the net ever again. I tried amazon yahoo and ecrater and they just don't work as well. |

Ebay uses me for customer feedback. I got to their campus and give them feedback on all the new things they want to implement on the site. Not once have they implemented any of the ideas they showed me. lol
