Buy a new TV, computer, monitor or something along those lines.
Get those display cabinets I want, custom made.

Either pay off more of my student loans, or put it in the Oh S*@t Fund.

nope. just a random question to get ideas as to what people would do if someone came to the door and gave them $8000
i just sold a small plot of land too small to live on to the neighbor on one side to expand his yard, and after i pay the taxes, lawyer fees, and my credit cards, with absolulty NO DEBTS AT ALL, i'll have aprox $8000 cdn left to bank. just got back from a month long road trip across the USA, don't watch TV, and just bought a New Macbook Pro laptop. was thinking of tweaking the van a bit, fix a leak in the back door, and get her some new shoes, new shocks and give her a decent check up. maybe upgrade the headlights and build a storage chest for my photo gear inside that could double as a bed next time i'm on the road. probably fly out west to visit my brother and sister. probably fly out west to visit my brother and sister. Sounds like a good plan. If you'll be spending a lot on the van why not get a newer one? |

my oh S#!t fund is already taken care of. this 8k is basically just bank account fluff. i'm super booked for weddings this summer, and each wedding brings in another grand at least.
this 8k is completely out of the blue, gift from the universe kind of thing. |
