so around 5;20 this afternoon i took off to head out to school, pick up my buddy and head down . right on main st. turning on old town road, my car starts to jerk on me. half way up the road it went dead, i was out of gas. i thought this was the trouble, well my gas reader went on me some time ago, so i call my buddy to head down to were i was, and we had to call the school to let them know were going to be late. well were on 7;30 now waiting for AAA. to come. he shows up with gas and nothing happen, could not get it to turn over, so at this point we got it toe to the station. and left it there till tomorrow so he can fix it, I'm guessing its the fuel pump that went. and i miss class. and it may cast me 300.00 to fix this, sucks, ok I'm done ranting, i feel better,

$300.00 to fix a fuel pump is cheap.have them check the fuel filter first before they tear the car apart.

If you can swing it go get yourself a new Civic or Corrola - dependible, warranty and great gas milieage. Toyota as zero percent financing right now too.

Or get one thats a couple years old. THe largest depreciation has already happened, and it's likely got it's initial kinks worked out.

I hate cars. I absolutely loathe them. They're black holes that suck all your money in, and all they do is devalue the more you use it. I'm fortunate to live in a city where public transit is easily and readily available. I still do own a car, but I never drive it unless we are heading out of town to go camping or whatever. Hate cars. HATE 'EM! Plus, isn't this 2010? Shouldn't we have flying cars by now?
