Has anybody seen Iron Maiden recently. Tickets for this show run about $27 and I was wondering if it is with Bruce Dickinson and most of the original lineup. Is it worth this price to see these classic metal giants?

It will be be the original line up..well not original, but yes the classic lineup...plus when Adrian Smith came back with Bruce, Janick Gers never left--so its 3 guitarists.
I saw Maiden the last 2 tours and had the pleasure of meeting them before that. Trust me, you will not be dissapointed--a fun night, a great arena show. Up The Irons!! |

Emo is stupid.
The best time I saw them was on Ozzfest, Ozzy actually "got sick" and couldn't play here in NJ. I had a choice when I reached the gate "full refund, or very special Iron Maiden show". Wearing a Maiden T-shirt..the guy at the gate said "you'll love this" So the set was in support for the "Early Days dvd"--which is worth every damn cent. They played for almost 3 hours outside, through a thunderstorm and did every album from Iron Maiden to Piece Of Mind almost in their entirety. They opened with Murders In The Rue Morgue and played pretty much everything from Killers Hearing Bruce sing stuff like Twilight Zone and Drifter...for a Maiden fan...was worth every dollar and every minute. When they toured for the last album, A Matter Of Life And Death, I wasn't too thrilled to find they only played that album in it's entirety...no Number Of The Beast, no Trooper or Wrathchild...just that album. The encore was Hallowed Be They Name, Iron Maiden and Sanctuary......that was it! They won't be doing that on this tour though. |

I saw them in 2004 or 5, cant recal exactly, They had Dio and Motorhead with them and it was totaly worth it. For 27 bones, you should jump on it like a beast!
Warning! it def the "loudest" show I've ever been to and was dam near deaf for a couple days after, so you may want to bring some earplugs (dorky,I know, but they wont ruin the show for you either. PitVipers right though, hearing Bruce do The Clansman alone was worth the price of admission! Last edited by spot138; 05-23-2010 at 03:20 PM.. |

I went last night to the Iron Maiden show. I only paid $22 by getting the tix at the box office instead of Ticketmaster. Saved me $17
The show was freaking awesome as they opened with The Wicker Man.

I've been a huge Iron Maiden fan since I was 16 and seen the band four times in concert(2000,2004,2006,and 2008).Those guys can still perform.
