I'm fairly new here, so I'm not sure if this is the norm. I'll probably tick off some people, but whatever.
If you're trading or selling items, would it kill you to reply back? I'm not even talking about times where I send 1 PM asking about an item (which happens too). There are times where a fellow tanker and I are trading PMs back and forth, coordinating a deal/sale then all of the sudden I don't hear back from them and me ending up waiting or losing out on another deal I could have made elsewhere. The worst are people who have businesses selling items and don't don't reply back or leave me hanging. I own a business and there's no way I would run it like some people here run theirs. Just to add...I don't go around lowballing people. Shoot, I tell them I want to buy for their listed prices I have never asked for a lower price than what's listed, so I know it's not that. I'm just saying that it wouldn't hurt to have a little courtesy. That is all...carry on. |

I hate when that happen, like a "no thanks" or "I'll pass" is too much.

I agree, I don't think it takes too much to let the person know if you have already sold the item or aren't interested in their offering prices, etc.
I will always try to answer every PM about a sale or trade, even if not interested, just so the other person isn't sitting around waiting.

The other thing that gets me personally is the thread that starts with figs for $8 each, buy no fewer than six, shipping not included. There's stuff on there you want, but not six, and 8 bucks plus shipping? Feck that.
The thread gets bumped for fifteen straight days, the seller posts "make an offer", and you offer to buy six total for $36 and split shipping with the seller, making sure it's clear that your offer is firm and in your opinion, final and fair. The reply is that bull$hit about firm price of $8 each on six figures, can't split shipping, hard to find figures, handpicked, minty, blah, blah, blah...dude, I didn't ask if the items I offered on are HTF, hand selected, or in mint shape - I did exactly what you instructed and made an offer after nobody bought your $hit for two straight weeks. DON'T WRITE MAKE AN OFFER AND THEN SLIP ME YOUR BULL$HIT WHEN I MAKE AN OFFER-that move drives me fekkin' crazy...nobobdy wanted to buy your $hit under your original restrictions, and when you write make an offer, I take it as a tacit acknowledgment that your 'my sale items are the best available $5.50 pieces of collectible plastic' approach wasn't flying with buyers on the tank. |

I don't think anybody's feelings are going to get hurt if "person x" doesn't want to buy your items ...

People try to make a few extra off shipping. Such a turn off. BTW I've emailed/pm'ed like 10 people on here and have only received 2 replies. Is it cause I'm new?
