It's true the malls aren't like they use to be with toy stores and then to make matters worse near me, they recently tore down our Toys R Us, they'll be rebuilding it but it won't be til this fall that's it's rebuilt :P

Malls are sooo boring now. We go once or twice a year. The biggest problem is evry single mall in America is basically the same as everyone elses mall. All the same boring stores with the same exact stuff. When ost of us were kids and we went out of town , I bet most of us couldnt wait to go check out the new towns mall because it was sure to have different stores than your hometowns mall. Now they are all exactly the same.

Toy stores aren't what they used to be. That's for sure. Now, you've got to go to a hobby store.

I miss KB Toys. I remember in 01 or 02 when we still had one at my local mall, I found some early to mid 90's GI Joes there with a buy 2 (for about $3.50 each) get one free deal and mine had a ton of old X-Men and Spider-Man figures as well.

A mall here in Albany actually has a Toys r us "outlet" in it. Nothing good Joe-wise though.

You are never going to find a Toy Store in a mall that can compete with Wal-Mart. The Mall simply charges way too much for rent, plus Small Toy Stores do not get the bulk discount on product that Wal-Mart does, so actually they are paying as much or more than Wal-Marts retail prices just to get inventory, so they HAVE To charge more.
Sure it would be great to see Toy Stores in the Malls again, but we would actually have to BUY Toys there to keep them in business.
