on our Canadian wilderness voyage through the portages etc.... our guide got me hooked on peanut butter and salami... sometimes sandwiched between two oatmeal raisin cookies.

I like all those things, but I nver gave the combo much consideration. One time when I was leading this group of people through the Canadian wilderness, I convinced this guy to eat a sandwich made of peanut butter, salami, and oatmeal cookies! It was crazy man! He actually ate it! What a coinisidence!

Ok here's some of my favorites.
3 slices of white bread, chunky peanut butter grape and strawberry jelly. This can get messy. On 1 piece of bread, Strawberry jelly, grape on the other. On the 3rd piece of bread put peanut butter on both sides. Smmich that mf'er together and enjoy! 2 wheat bagels, apple butter and whole grain peanut butter. This my somewhat "diabetes approved" pb&j. Really good toasted. The Elvis. Yes, it's that sandwich. If you haven't tried it you are missing out. 2 THICK slices of bread, half stick of butter, peanut butter, 1 banana. Get a frying pan, add some butter and get it over medium heat. Butter the "back side" of the bread (like your making a grilled cheese) and put peanut butter on the inside of both pieces of bread. Layer banana on one side (slices, chips whatever) close the sandwich and fry it like a grilled cheese. Call your doctor.

Love apple butter, as well as apple jelly. Honey is good sometimes.
If I get tired of whatever jelly I have around, sometimes I'll add cookies. Might try the salami other members mentioned. I'm usually up for trying new/weird things. |

Strawberry jelly, jam, or preserves. Nutella. Cinnamon. Sometimes honey, if I have it. Peter Pan creamy honey roasted peanut butter.
