Picked up the ME/Resolute figs that they threw us in this line. That's about it tho. It was time to move on to better things when wave 1 launched....

Most of the figures I enjoyed were not even based on the movie. So I am not sure what that means in the long run, I was really happy to see all sorts of Gi Joe toys on the shelf.

ROC = a mildly amusing diversion until something better comes along.

I think the movie line killed any momentum that the 25th line started again for GI Joe. The movie itself was good for what it was, and the toys are well made. My son loves playing with them, big ass guns and all.
However, I think Hasbro shot itself in the foot with too many repaints, and poor pricing. They proved that the 25th line was moving at the prices they were using, and gaining popularity with collectors.People like me, that played with Joes as a little kid were buying 2 and 3 of each figure. 1 to display, 1 for loose display and one for my son to play with. Then came ROC and all of a sudden, I couldn't justify $7.99 for another Duke or Snake Eyes. I will honestly say though, if Hasbro had done a good kitbash/repaint of any ARAH figure on a classic card, I would have bought 3 of them at that point, no questions asked at $7 bucks a piece. Hell, it could have been Crystal ball, and I would still have done it.

I'll be missing ROC. I'm hoping that the sequel continues to move forward...then I'll be able to add more toys to the Joe-Movieverse.

RoC did allow me to troop build.
There was never enough 25th stuff on the shelves (and not because it was selling but because there wasn't any being ordered and only 1 or 2 pegs at a time, very limited in my area) to do any troop building with and trying to do it through the 'net was too costly.

There were some good RoC figures and I was pleased with the quality of most of the ones I bought, but I'm looking forward to what's coming.

I was pleasantly surprised at some of the RoC figures that we got, and once places dropped the prices, I bought more. I liked RoC, but I'm looking forward to PoC.

im just glad the crap has ended. I firmly feel RoC did more harm than good in the sense of retailers wanting joe product. sure it put gi joe intt the spotlight for a time but it ended up seeming to be more of a negative than a positive. I feel that if they had pushed resolute more and kept the resolute figures coming instead of screwing us like they did gi joe might have had more of a mainstay. Just a hunch.
