growing up I had a pair of scorpions, couple types of tarantulas, all sorts of lizards, few snakes, African praying mantis, pacman frogs, about 6 posion arrow frogs in a nice terrarium, and a school of 6 piranhas about the size of your hands.
At one point I had 5 fish tanks and about 10 glass aquariums in my room/family room full of stuff. Some were giving to me from folks who didnt want them anymore since I use to work at a pet shop. |

I have a small school of Black Ocellaris Clown fish in a 28g Biocube.
I had a Prarie dog for about a year in the mid 90s, I never got attached to him so I found him a new home. I am considering a terrarium for Poison Dart Frogs after I move into my new house. Last edited by txbart; 04-15-2010 at 12:24 AM.. |

I have Ball-Python. Great little snake, although not quite so little anymore. They're kinda boring pets but feeding time is always cool. It's like watching National Geographic live.
I love snakes but I dont think I could ever handle having a Tarantula as a pet. A friend of mine got one and I told her that I would never come over again. She's got a lot of exotic pets, the Scorpion was really cool. Luckily I got to check that out before she got the Tarantula. PS: I might recommend no pics in this thread, specifically of Snakes or Spiders. Simply for the sake of certain people that dont like one or the other. I know I was dreading someone posting a pic of their pet Tarantula while I was scrolling down. Last edited by Sy-Rein; 04-15-2010 at 12:36 AM.. |
