if you want to nab him use a cellphone, prepaid maybe, i think you can get one for $25-$30, set it up with a tel#, write down the #, turn the ringer off, package it in a box, put it in the mailbox, this is the cheap option, race to take it back from the mailman so it isnt shipped, keep doing this if you have to, putting it in dif sized boxes, if it disappears like that, start calling it over and over, the police will be able to track the phones location, some phones might be able to dial 911 if you send it a certain text but that might take custom software.
more expensive option is to mail a phone with a GPS plan so you dont even have to call it. i really think this could work. but it probably wouldnt work tomorrow unless they are very stupid, they probably saw the cops at your house. also this is the first time this ever happened to you? you might have to face the possibility that it was a crime of opportunity and is unlikely to happen again, when i was little i had a cousin that would do hoodlum things in the hood when he stayed with me which was 2 or 3 times a year. |

i speak from personal experience, because i have slacked to my own peril, when i say that people who are very regimented about security rarely if ever fall victim to missing things. i have left my car unlocked twice in my life both times i got robbed of trinkets in the car, cds, sunglasses, things like that. one time they even did me the service of cleaning out about a pound of green corroded pennies from the bottom of the center console |

I am assuming you are printing the postage and then just leaving them in the mailbox for the mailman?
If so, you can request a package pickup and they will come to your door and get them.

Why would you leave the gate open?
I remember how shocking it was to me living in the states to see people leaving their cars or house open. You can not do that here in Puerto Rico anywhere. They will rob you even if is locked up. I hope you can find a solution in the future for your problem dude. |

Which is why I don't opt that route. I'd rather make the trip to the postal office myself.
