Awhile ago I gave a shout out to Robocop #1--because it was awesome.
I just caught up with 2 and 3, and if "awesomer" was a word it would fit for whats going on in that title. If you are a fan of the 1st movie, I can not emphasize enough how well spent your $3.00 will be. Having said that I browsed through a few pages of some other Dynamite Titles...Black Terror (was so cool, I put it down because I didnt want to spoil it...gotta go back and get the 1st few issues) The Boys-Garth Ennis= win. Green Hornet, and even better Kato has his own title. Having Frank Miller, Garth Ennis, Alex Ross to name a few on the roster isn't bad either. Just thought I "found" something really cool and would let anyone who is wondering know--its pretty cool. |

I got The Boys first trade from a fellow 'Tanker, then looked everywhere for #2 at Wizardworld. Saw that the Diamond table had it and I went to buy it and was kind of irritated that they seemed too busy to bother helping me. Turned out there was suddenly a big crowd behind me and I was 2nd in line for Garth Ennis to sign stuff. Oops. So I waited til he came and the Dynamite guys were cool. Dynamite makes a lot of fun stuff.

Yeah, here is the thing with me..and I know a few people like this as well.
I will NEVER take away from the awesomeness of Marvel and DC But I was so crossover'd out with Civil War and Infinite Crisis that I needed a break. Plus--I have a tendency to over do it. So between the big stories, cross overs, regular titles I read...then the fact that if it was "classic horror" and put in print I couldnt walk past it without paying for it...it was time to stay out of the comic shop for awhile. I was going broke. Now I promised myself 3 titles and thats it. I got hooked with Robocop, the 2nd will prob be Black Terror and the 3rd is still open. It just seems fun and easy..again I'm not taking away or bashing the big companies. I just needed 1 title that was fun and didnt crossover everywhere. So far Dynamite is like perfect for how I wanted to read and collect. |

Buck Rogers is a fun title. 10 issues out, going on a hiatus soon with a Wilma Deering limited series to fill the gap, before "season 2" of Buck returns.
