I have insurance, so it's not so much the money as much as it is the aggravation. I'm not gonna 'woe is me' or anything, and have absolutely nothing against cops or anything like that. A lot of them just need attitude adjustments in my area is all.
For example, One of the officers names was gunther. and an employee of mine who saw the cops at my house and stopped by to make sure everything was okay addressed him as such. The guy responds with this stern fed-up look, "It's Gun." then he walks to his car and leaves. I don't care who you are or what you do, that's a jackass thing to pull. If you don't like your job, get another one. Not complicated.

This is always something that triggers my thoughts about buying and selling on eBay. Years ago I was selling some nice stuff and I got several people that wanted to "drop by" to check out my collection. I even had one person show up at the door, but I did not answer it. I had to repeatedly tell one person no means no. Once you have the address listed on your packages, people can find you. If they check your bidding-selling history they can guess what kind of stuff you have.
The only reason I mention that is because of the toys you said were stolen. These days with expensive AFA graded toys, I am sure some crooks can turn quick cash on those. How many people keep track of the AFA serial numbers on items they bought on eBay? They would be much easier to pawn than a computer with all the serial numbers on them. |

one more thing make sure you catalogue every single thing they took if you have a lot of '''stuff''' +LIKE ME+ (((read as s***))) then it might be easy to overlook the things they took and at this point the best data against the burglar you have is what they took it really could lead you to them in some cases, so go over and over that as well meditate on that as well, deep repetitive thought tumble the stuff around in your mind look at it from every perspective, i hope this helps.
EDIT(((im sorry meant to imply that i have a lot of s*** wasnt trying to call your stuff s***!))) In regards to the outsiders things though, I've never sold anything on ebay. and even my employee, who knew where I lived had never seen the inside of my house before. Of course now, I'm concerned that He's going to go run and tell his buddies that I have a custom Batman suit in my living room and what not...but he said he wouldn't and I wouldn't of hired him if he wasn't extremely trustworthy so there you go. I AM thinking though about people that have been in my house (thanks to you guys) in the last several months, and so far I've come up with the A/C repair kid. and the Dish network people. I'm calling EB tomorrow hoping these douches asked for store credit.

I still chuckle at whatever kid stole my CD case back in Phoenix (and I know it was some kid cause he stole my cellphone too and I called everyone he called with it... ). Still trying to picture the look on his face when he got home and found a case full of gospel music.

Here it's more or less the luck of the draw as far as who you get
and whether they're worth anything or not. I don't really need sympathy from police, I'm not really that mad or upset because i know it's not going to help things one way or the other. Soon as I realized what had happened I also came to the immediate assertion that, if statistics mean anything, I'd never see any of my stuff again...such as life, yada yada blah blah. One thing that does ERK me though at this point is that the Uniforms left my house at 7:55pm and told me to expect phone calls fairly consistently from other officers calling for the official report and all that throughout the night. I was also told to expect a call from a detective who'd be stopping by no later than 8:30pm. it's now exactly 2 am, every light in the house is on and my phones haven't rang once. I'm not pretending this robbing is the worst thing ever, it's clearly not... But C'mon. No calls and no detective? F*****G Seriously?!?!

Wow That Stinks I am really sorry to hear this happened. As others stated I am glad no one was home and or hurt when it happened.
If helps Ill share 2 stories with you. When the Playstation first came out in japan I few of my customers bought them for $1000. one of these customers were robbed they took the tv the vcr (before dvd players) and some other stuff But left the playstation probably the most expensive thing he owned. Some crooks just dont know better also 1 xmas eve a few years ago one of my employees apartment was robbed. They ( I say they cause the kids mom went to a neighbors house for about an hour leaving the door unlocked)took all the presents under the tree his tv his moms tv and the xmas tree. here is the kicker they took the time to take the lights off and left them in a ball where the tree was. Once again crooks just don't seem to know any better and yes that is why they get caught |

F*****G Seriously?!?! as for the no phone calls and so on i would show patience, in case they are overworked give it until tomorrow afternoon may be and if you dont hear anything try getting in touch with the chief of police or sherrif if you are outside of city limits, or may be even mayor or police commissioner (((no idea how big your city is))) and may be even get one or two neighbors involved that you trust its an affluent neighborhood you said well i hate to say it but that usually means a lot they assume you are more likely to complain to higher ups and you are more likely to vote and all that. make them take it seriously it is the principle of the situation they could have taken anything they could have surprised an elderly person they didnt know was there and killed her to cover their tracks i mean if they are not caught and they are a career criminal they will get worse and worse.
