A great way to ship ship 25th carded figures for cheap? If you have any HoH boxes, just put the carded figure in there and then either box or wrap that package. If you have extras, that saves on the cash.

I get so sick of buyers whining about shipping costs. I pack everything so it doesn't get damaged. I have had only one item get damaged in the entire time I have been selling on ebay. I called the buyer offered them a partial refund on the damaged item, everybody was happy. I actually had some idiot actually say the shipping was too high on one item, so I cut the shipping in half and added the money I removed from shipping to the item and he emailed me back he would have bid on the item if he had known I had lowered the shipping cost. The actual price didn't change mind you. I forget what the price was but as an example lets say it was $40 with shipping cost of $20, I changed the price to $50 with a shipping cost of $10. I am reasonably certain that both of those will add up to be $60. People are funny.

i got my first negative feedback yesterday because a buyer in malaysa waited 2 months to tell me he never received the package, then when i asked why he waited so long, before he replied to me, he left negative feedback.
the auction specifically said i would not ship overseas without tracking, and he assured me that he understood the risks of not paying the extra for shipping. He wanted the item that bad, and then he leaves negative feedback. if he would have contacted me as soon as he felt there may be a problem, i could have submitted an insurance claim, but after 2 months i don't keep shipping receipts, so there is nothing i could do. he never asked for a refund, he never seemed to imply there was any hostility. he just jumped the gun and gave negatove feedback without a conversation. no way he's getting a refund now. |

A claim can still be opened in two months. Why in the world would you throw the paperwork out? |

If i'm sending loose figs, bubble mailer all the way. If I am sending a loose fig with a file card, I cut out 2 pieces of cardboard and put the filecard in the middle and put it all in the bubble mailer. If I'm sending a MOC fig, then I get one of those priority mail boxes that one can fit into and send it that way. I just keep it all as standard as possible.

The best thing I try to do is avoid the situation as much as possible, so I go overboard in packing the item so that even if the box gets a major crush or dent the item inside is completely safe.
Also, I never advertise an item to be MOC or mint anything. The best description I give is "New" and/or "Unopened". Under-promise and over-deliver is my motto. |

I've talked to several postal employees in the past and they all discourage wrapping boxes. Their reason, just about all packages go through sorting machines and conveyors. If that paper gets caught, it can get ripped causing damage to the package and the machine.
