I used to be completely immune to poison ivy when I was younger, but not anymore. Fortunately I have a lot less of it around my new house. And I discovered Tecnu - highly recommended. I use it to wash off after coming in contact and it keeps it under control.

What sucks is I have a ton of Cherokee blood (maternal side), but I'm still crazy allergic to it. Most of my maternal cousins aren't though, so it looks like I lost on the genetic lottery.

You are going to be a survivor when the big zombie virus outbreak happens. Good for you.

Sometimes it takes multiple exposures to poison ivy before you have a reaction, so I wouldn't go rolling around in it even if it hasn't affected you before.
