Southern Ontario.
This past winter was a joke. We barely got any snow at all and most days weren't bitter cold. We had like one big snowfall and by big I mean like an inch, lol. This was the best winter ever.

I remember watching something on the History Channel about if the Polar Caps melt too much it will weaken the gulf stream and the Poles will warm but the middle part of the earth will get much colder.. almost like the arctic will just move south.. which would then cause another ice age and the whole thing starts all over again.

Meanwhile those of us in the south "FLORIDA" had the coldest winter in like 20 years.

Crazy how the world is going these days.....I would have never expected Florida to be colder than us and have a crappy winter! We usually go anywhere from -20 to -50 C in the winter but the most we went this year was about -21 and it was only a total of about three days. The rest were sitting around -6, -10.

Once we cooled off we stayed cool right up until a few days ago which rarely happens in winter here. We normally run around 70 degrees FH for highs in the winter and this year it was usually in the 50/60 FH range for highs. But yeah I watched the Olympics and I remember them saying they had a hard time getting snow.

It rained in parts of Southern Cali today, and the temp is somewhere between 58 to 68 depending on where you are, and it's windy.

Hey, I realized there's a difference in the metric system. Are you using the European, or world standard of measurement? |
