I just read the whole thing recently. I didn't care for the ending either...kinda anti-climatic.

The title says it all.
First comic SPOILER ALERT: Suddenly and mysteriously, all the males on the planet drop dead, except for one slacker and his monkey. As the world tumbles into chaos, He tries to find his girlfriend, who was in Australia when the trouble began. Hilarity and tragedy ensues. I liked the ending, I think it's always difficult to end a long running series, and it's going to disapoint some people. Can you imagine what would happen if they ended X-Men or Batman? Those series would have colossally anti-climatic endings. That being said, I can see how the Y ending would feel unsatisfying to people. |

I love Y The Last Man, and I even got my wife to read through it. BKV and Pia Guera are an excellent team. I was hoping for a better ending as well, but the one they have has grown on me.

Overall, I dug it, but the last few arcs lost some steam, and the ending was just ok.
Worth the read,tough. |

Y the Last Man is a story about the only dude that survives where the whole male population has become extinct, and how he is able to cope in a world full of women. It sounded great at first until the story began to pan out more.
So Baroness, what would happen if CMPunk were the last man on Earth? LOL |

I actually just started reading this. I've read through the first few issues and I like it so far but I wonder how long it'll hold my interest.
