So who does it and where?
Do you consider it a sport or a recreation? Any horror stories out there? In Florida there is a place that you can hunt down Zombies and shoot them with paint ball guns. Its an interesting spin on the sport/hobby/genre. Here is a link: Zombie Adventure :: Orlando's Interactive Haunted Attraction |

I play paintball. Haven't had a chance to get out to the field for a while now. Still shooting a semi-tricked Ion. The stock performance is enough to do well in skirmishes.
Horror story warning- So I went out to the field back in '04. First game of the day. I went for cover on the break. As I was trying to slow down to stop behind the upright, I felt and heard my right foot snap. It felt like my foot fell off! Next thing you know, I was on my back staring at my right foot that should've been pointing forward, but was turned around. The prognosis- torsion fracture of my right fibula, 100% of inner ligament torn, 75-80% of outer ligament torn. The repair- titanium plate with seven screws; still mounted in my ankle area, of which you can feel them if you run your finger along it. Totally awesome! Doesn't bother me one bit unless the plate side is on a hard surface and I put significant pressure on my leg.

Well, if you're thinking of buying them at paintball stores, they're going to be marked up. You should be able to get them from auto supply catalogs like Graingers. My dad bought me a bunch one time, but I forgot what size they were. They worked great though!
