congrats.. i got a degree and havent been able to do anything with since i got it.. been 7 yrs now.. huge waste of money

That's what I hear EVERYWHERE!!! They even did a special on ABC about these kids graduating with all these Titles, and they're pushing Coffee at Starbucks...if they're LUCKY!!!, Welcome to the NEW ECONOMY.

Congrats man that is tough program and I can't imagine doing it all while working 40+ hours.
I'm an EE, doing circuit board design. As for your question about certifications, I haven't gotten any for hardware design. It might be a little different on the software side of things, but there again it seems like most the stuff you do / use for embedded systems you either know it or you don't and you don't have to have a certification. You might also take a look at job postings and see if employers are looking for any specific certifications. Again congrats. |
