The vintage o-rings are awesome, but yeah they are costly. Some of the rarer ones and the European/South American variants are getting to a ludicrous price.

Anyone else think it's weird that, if Palpatine wanted Grievous dead at the end of the war, he didn't have some sort of kill switch implanted in Grievous to shut him down remotely?
Edit: Or, maybe, he was hoping Grievous would kill Kenobi. There we go... I answered my own question.

Hey all! So... yeah, I'm not exactly "new" here, but it's been a while. I've been keeping up to date via the FB groups and what not, but I've been a bit disappointed by how the fandom seems to be going there... Seems like since the FB groups started popping up, the fandom has grown immensely. That was exciting at first, but things are crazy expensive nowadays (thank goodness I bought most of what I wanted early on), and I've been missing all the good things that came with the community being smaller/more niche...
Anyway, was feeling nostalgic so I tried logging in a few days ago - wasn't sure if my account would even still be active! Glad to see it is. It might take a while to get back in the groove of things and participate in the forums like I used to, but looking forward to reconnecting with old friends here and meeting new ones too! Thanks! Happy to be here.
Another thing I miss - the old GIJCC conventions... man, those were the days. I know we all complained about exclusives and other BS, but those were good times overall. Great community.

Edit: Or, maybe, he was hoping Grievous would kill Kenobi. There we go... I answered my own question. Grievous was a powerful asset, but also a loose cannon. A kill switch would eliminate the risk of Grievous' actions jeopardizing Palpatine's plans that basically means reliability, also control, take a look from Palpatine's perspective, having a kill switch would ensure complete control over Grievous. He could eliminate him if he became disobedient or if the Separatist movement outlived its usefulness. If you had these facts in front of you, wouldn't you do the same? |

Hi, my name is Doug, I live in STL, Mo. I have been a long time Joe collector for many years. My main focus has been the vintage 12" figures. I have however acquired some ARAH items over the years that I will be listing on ebay in the coming weeks.
