I'm not a Zombie movie fan, seen one ya seen 'em all basically (I know that's not true, don't go getting the pitchforks...).
But thought about seeing this one cause it looked more funny and not serious.

My friend and I watched it on his netflix once, here is the imdb listing for it:
Death House (1987) I'd have to say the funniest movie I've seen in years was Inglorious Basterds. It crapped all over Zombieland. I should also mention that I did like Zombieland, but was pretty disappointed by most of it. |

Can't wait to get this!! One of my favorite movies of the year. Hilarious, and has a few good scares, too. This is the movie Shaun of the Dead wished it was.

WTF are you talking about? Shaun of the Dead is a great film. Not a flaw in my opinion and every Zombie genre fan even Romero himself has praised this film.

These were great moments in Zombieland:
1. "Nut up or Shut up!" 2. Emma Stone = HAWT 3. Woody Harrelson with the double-sheathed shotguns on his back. 4. The hunt for twinkies. Although I was a bit perturbed that out of that entire Hostess truck with literally 3000 SnoBalls, they took only 2 packs with them. What a waste!

The only thing in common that Shaun of the Dead and Zombieland has is that there is zombies in the movie. Nothing else the humor in both films is different. I happen to like both movies for what they are and I never bathed myself on comparing them cause is incomparable.
Zombieland focus on the 4 survivors and there development into adapting to what is happening to them nothing else nothing more. It wasn't an amazing zombie movie but it was a very decent movie and compare to must of the crap that was out this year it was good film. Shaun of the Dead is a Zombie fan wet dream and is incomparable to Zombieland because they are different period. Shaun of the Dead has everything going for it. The witty humor the awesome story and the foucs on the zombies and gore. Just saying Zombieland a mediocre zombie movie but a good comedy nonetheless. |
