I heard that!
Seriously where I live as soon as you can walk you are taught survival skills. Huntin, fishin, campin ( not sissy style but real campin). My favorite lesson is if you aint gonna eat it dont shoot it, a waste of bullets, find something else to kill it with. |

It's a dead giveaway. I also would not trust anyone who calls a magazine a "clip" with a firearm. |

In all honesty, i would head over into Siamese Goat's territory, stake out a claim, and then sew the whole area with Radio Controlled IED's.
If you weren't welcome in my neighborhood, you would explode very quickly. |

I have a rucksack which I take with me most places and it contains enough gear for me to build shelter, fire, and eat for at least a week in the wilderness - on foot.
The "throw stuff in the truck" scenario is not my first line of defense because I soon as I have to abandon the vehicle due to being out of fuel, getting multiple flats, hitting a roadblock, etc. I will have to abandon that gear anyway. Thus, I think I would prefer to have that sort of gear (extra food and fuel and ammo, etc.) already stored at a remote location that I would intend to escape to by vehicle if possible and on foot if necessary. orr you could just read max brooks zombie survival guide. |

Have you seen the ending of Dawn of the Dead when the survivors were on the boat and stumbled upon a raft with a cooler on it?
Sounded like having a cooler was a good idea back then...... LOL
