So there are a couple of movies that I remember from long ago, but can't for the life of me remember the titles.
The first was on from the mid to late 80's and it was about a Vietnam vet who is haunted by the zombie-like corpse ghost of one of his fellow soldiers. The story goes that they were in Vietnam and his buddy got shot and couldn't run away from the enemy and asks the main character to kill him so the Viet-Kong won't capture him. The main character just can't shoot his buddy, so he leaves him there saying he will come back. Long story short, the enemy captures him and tortures him to death and that is why he comes back to haunt the guy. Any ideas what movie this could be? The second was a WW2 movie and I want to say it was mid to late 90's. I can't remember too much about this one other than I *think* it took place toward the end of the war and it was during Christmas. The Americans were hunkered down in an old mansion somewhere and the Germans were close by. I believe there was some sort of singing of Christmas carrols on Christmas eve. I seem to remember something about the Americans and Germans not knowing the was was ended(?) But again, my memory is kinda spotty. Anyway, I remember being scared sh*tless by the first one and really enjoying the second. Anyone know which movies I'm talking about? Thanks in advance.

the second one is called A Midnight Clear
A Midnight Clear (1992) the Americans and Germans spent Christmas ever together in a German civilians house and embraced goodwill towards man etc.. although I think there may be another one similar along the same lines...

There is one that is set in WWI where the Brit and German soldiers quit fighting christmas eve, exchanged gifts, and played soccer. It is a true story, but I can't think of the name right now.
