sure, but they will not do the trick that we need to make our displays sturdy enough. Our displays are made of quality steel and acrylic...and even have a future "Shelf System" feature that will require the strong magnets we have now.
It's a pain in the arse...but it will be worth it :P

LOL thanks John...this has set us back a bit time wise. I was at the factory today...we have decided on slotting the plastic and using different magnets that will press fit in place, this way we should not have to glue anything...bonus for me is it will not be as labor intensive as previously thought during assembly.
Test samples should arrive next week, and as long as they fit our needs and quality standards, we will order up a number of final sales samples so that we can take final production photos and introduce to the world! I'm pushing it back a few weeks to mid January...ish

Drill a hole in them and screw them in the acrylic.
I don't know if that will work for you aesthetically, but that is what I would try. |

haha, but alas this will not work work for our needs. The magnets are pulling double duty..holding the dual layer together as well as connecting to other dual layer panels and our special connectors (which are metal). ....it will all make sense when you see them...and what they can do : - )

Frankly , I don't think it is so hard to glue the magnetic to the acrylic stands . Actually , most of our products are combination ,they are glued by acrylic with metal ,marble with acrylic ,wood with acrylic etc.
But for large size metal ,magnetic etc , it may need to make one hole and then combined them together .If so the combination would be more strong . :-) |
