Does anyone know of a Master Chief figure that is in scale with the Joes?
Preferably one that: 1.) I can easily find. and 2.) Won't cost a lot. Tanks

The McFarlane Master Chief is the closest your gonna get at the moment. With the taller 25th/RoC he`s perfect. With older Joes taller than he should. Though in the books there are some over 7ft, so hey it all does pan out
Plus McFarlane now have a Mongoose out for them too. As for cheap, well if not wanting to pay store prices, check ebay. |

I agree with panzer, the McFarlane Master Chief toys would be relatively close to scale. In the Halo: The Flood novel, Master Chief is described as being slightly over seven feet tall. If we're using the proper 1:18 scale (where 3.75 inches is equivalent to 67.5 inches or 5 feet, 7.5 inches), then a 7 foot tall guy would be about 4.65 inches tall. IIRC, the McFarlane Master Chief is about 5 inches tall (roughly seven and a half feet tall scaled up), so that's close enough.

Is there a Warthog to use with the figures?
Also, has anyone done an accelerator suit conversion? I was scoping it out and it doesn't look to be that difficult a custom. Thanks again.

Not as far as I know. The closest to scale Warthog I can think of is the remote control Warthog made by NKOK that sells for $25 at Gamestop and Target, but it's in 1:32 scale, I think. Much too small.

The RC Warthog, the Spartans with it are only 3" but like anything if willing to make it work it will.
Another option is on ebay there is a guy selling Clear Body shells of the Warthog & it`s dimensions are bang on for 1/18th scale. Of course you can either put it on an appropriate RC chassis or as I`m doing a slow build of the chassis to have a model Warthog. Rumour mill has it McFarlane MAYBE considering introducing the Warthog to it`s line up though as of yet NO official confirmation has been announced. So keep an eye on McFarlane too next year as I believe the series to be released is to include a vehicle. |
