Man now your talkin, when he snuck up behind the guy and lopped his head off with his homeade knife..sweeeeeeeeet. Rambo was always what i thought snake eyes would be if he were a live action hero. But dean is right, if you have not seen the last Rambo yet it kicks serious tail and it wraps up the series perfectly.

You don't really need to see the other films. This one stands very much alone. Now would I recommend not seeing the others, no. It is a great popcorn flick.

Funny you should mention seeing on V-day, I told my wife that was what I wanted to do too, but she didn't go for it. :( She DID buy me the first 3 movies on DVD though. You know, it's also funny what you mentioned about SE, I was just sitting here thinking the other night that those of us who are old enough to remember growing up in the 80's with the ARAH Joes and all the Rambo and Chuck Norris movies and what not have seen all this iconic characters over the years that we have grown to love. When you see them now or watch them again after having not seen them in a long time, it's kind of cool to see them almost like fresh for the first time in a long time. So anywho, how COOL is going to be now to be able to add to this long list of Rambos, Chuck Norris's (Delta Force is a personal dirty pleasure of mine I bought that one too and have now watched it twice), Schwarzeneggers and what not, the name of SNAKE EYES! He is about to VERY quickly become even more of a lengend than he already is, I'll even go so far as to say yet another American icon after this movie. It really makes me happy to know that a character I grew up with and enjoyed as a kid is now going to be even bigger and I will be able to watch my two boys in a couple of years (they are 2 now ) go ape s*it over him. I can see a lot of GI Joe being played in the back yard as I watch and enjoy in the years to come. Eric
