Lody, I believe they're based here in Dallas. There's a ton of them here. I've never seen Joes there, but I've picked up some knock off Transformers there. They're a closeout store like Big Lots, Marshall's and TJ Maxx, but they focus more on home stuff. Some of the ones here have decent stuff in their toy sections though.

Odd find. Been to those stores before but they hardly have anything worth picking up.

I had a feeling that Joes would pop up in one of those stores! I'll check tommorow. There is one in my neigborhood! Then I'll go Kmart, then Ross, then Target, the Walmart, then Rite-Aid, and then I'll pick my son up from pre-school!

there is one in Tampa when i use to live there. They have alot of up scale furniture in that store. they seemed a bit over priced on most stuff there but I got a few good deals. There wernt any joes that I recall when I went in, but they could very well have them now!

We have those here.
The only Joe thing I remember seeing was the Crimson Command Copter years ago. Lots and lots and lots of Dark Knight action figures, though.

Most every store gets in different stuff (Regional, I believe) over the years I've found:
Indy figures (Last Crusade Wave) KO Transformers (Currently they have a lot of Japaneese ones and Mini Firt Max) Super Hero Showdown (Venom and Green Goblin) GI Joe Internet BAT 6 Pack GI Joe BTR (Lego sets) (They had some of the final wave stuff like Firefly and such) They don't get stuff too often either so it's really hit or miss when you show up there, but I have found something pretty cool about them. They have an inventory program you can call. Say you find an Indy figure from the Temple of Doom wave, but there's only one at the store. Well, call 1800-901-0881 punch in the UPC number on the one figure you found and then you're zip code and they'll tell you what stores in the area have items with that UPC and how many at each store. Mind you, every figure from that wave will have the same number so you may just find a lot of Willie Scott, or you may find the whole wave. Plus you also have to dig around at the store, because they are rarely organized They will also close for inventory a few times each year for a couple of weeks, typically you want to hit them as soon as they reopen, but this is not always the case (Remember, I said they were hit or miss ) If there's ever a toy line you see get cancelled or phased out at regular stores, start looking at Tuesday Morning about a month or two after they're gone from the regular stores |
