I had this posted on another forum, but I have kinda grown tired of it. I think this would help the larger community here.
First of all, I think it's very important for me to state how important guns are. They are very important. They are our friends, as long as we are not on the end with the hole. That's the end where Mr. Dead comes out. Nobody knows where the first guns came from. Some people believe that Jesus used them, but others believe that the first actual gun was used by Ra. There is a lot of evidence to support this: The Sphynx is missing a nose and King Tut's autopsy proved that he had a hole in his head. That's all I'm saying. Only one kind of person hates guns: Hippies. Hippies hate everything awesome; to include hot rods, meat, and my kitten-fur coat collection. Enough of the babble, it's time for the gun show! I'll take requests for unidentifyable guns, as well as comments or suggestions. I am including some of the figures that include this gun. If I am erroneous at all in this, please feel free to let me know. I will post pictures later.. -UZI 9mm (Snake Eyes, ROC Kamakura, 25th Joe Troopers, multiple others) An open bolt, blowback-operated submachine guns. The Uzi was a unique non-pistol weapon when first introduced, due to its design that houses the magazine in the pistol grip. This is based on the philosophy that reloading would be quicker in the dark or other low-visibility situations, because one hand can always find the other hand. The first Uzi submachine gun was designed by Major Uziel Gal (who actually did not want the weapon to be named after him) in the late 1940s during the Arab-Israeli War and finished in 1950 for the Israeli defense forces. By 1956, it was a general-issue weapon. However, as of 2003, the Uzi has been retired from service. Overall, the Uzi is a great weapon. It’s inexpensive to make, easy to maintain and repair, and it fires several different calibers of ammunition, namely the common 9mm. During the 1980’s- if action movies are to be believed- at least 1 in every 9 bad guys owned one of these. Chuck Norris keeps 11 of them in denim holsters around his home. He had 12, but one was given to a needy child from the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The Uzi is a great choice for its original wielder- Snake Eyes. It is especially effective when being used to spray in one direction in close quarters. Vehicle drivers and support staff will also find this weapon extremely useful based on its compact size. -IMI Tavor TAR-21 (ROC Cover Girl) Another Israeli weapon, this one being a recent advancement (TAR-21 stands for Tavor Assault Rifle, 21st century). It utilizes the tried-and-true bullpup design and houses the bolt carrier behind the pistol grip, thus making it more ideal for urban combat than standard rifles without this feature. It also fires the standard NATO 5.56 mm cartridge. It can be modified for left or right-handed shooters; it’s waterproof, and lightweight. You have to give it to the Israelis- when you’ve been fighting over the same stretch of land since the 1940’s; you get a pretty good idea of what a decent weapon would be. This weapon will do well in the hands of nearly any standard soldier, Joe or Cobra. I’d suggest not overlooking this weapon’s versatility and usefulness. Also, Destro uses a rifle very similar to this in Resolute. -Steyr AUG A1 (Doctor Rex Lewis) An Austrian weapon that has been in service since the 70’s, the Steyr AUG A1 is a reliable weapon that can be reconfigured to various purposes. A half-squeeze on the trigger gives you a single shot, and pulling further makes this weapon fire on full auto. There are tons of variants to this weapon, as many as there are types of people who would use this weapon. It was one of the first weapons of its kind, innovating the way modern firearms are made. Its pretty useful on standard ground troops, and since it’s an awesome long-range weapon as well, it would be wise to strap it to a sniper like Zartan (especially since it has a scope). -M4 Carbine w/ M203 grenade launcher (Desert Duke) The M-4 is the graduation of the M16 series of weapons. It is a shoulder fired, magazine fed, piece of crap that the US keeps sinking money into. Its only redeeming features are that a retard can pick it up and fire it and take it apart, it’s fairly accurate, and the bullets tumble after a certain range and hit your enemy like a buzz-saw. That “buzz-saw” effect earned the M16 its nickname “black death” in Vietnam. Also, they’d find bodies of people who’d been shot at them from over 300 meters and discover that the bullets like to change directions and play pinball once they hit meat. Of course, when compared to more modern weapons, it doesn’t hold up. I’d love to speak on its versatility, but it boasts no more than multiple foreign assault rifles. I could say it’s durable, but after continuous firing and a good sandstorm, it jams and locks up like a panic room door. The 203 grenade launcher, however, is a great attachment. It’s a 40mm grenade launcher, and all of its lethal rounds need 14-27 meters to “spin up” and arm themselves… because it’s idiot-proof. No need to make something that someone can fire off and explode in a cramped vehicle. I’d say it works well in the hands of any of your troops, but it’s really nothing special. Duke would use it, with his boy scout American Soldier ways… but otherwise it’s not as cool as other weapons. -Colt M1911 (Multiple- GI Joe 25th 5-pack, Greatest Battles) There are very few things that just get made right the first time. This is one of those things. This is also one of the longest-running issued sidearms in military history, sitting on the hip of multiple US servicemen from 1911 to 1985. When something kills good, you keep it. The idea that gave birth to the Colt 1911 was when US troops were fighting Moro guerillas, who were drugged up and basically laughed at the little holes our .38’s were making in them. So, Mr. Browning decided to make a gun that puts a really big damned hole in someone and see if they laugh afterward. It’s this kind of thinking that makes us America, and why everyone is scared of us like little French schoolgirls. In the 1980’s, the M9 Beretta replaced the 1911 series, because apparently someone’s little princess couldn’t handle the kick of a real man’s gun. Since it may be one of the last bastions of manliness in the world, Marine Corps armorers in Quantico still maintain and manufacture these for Marine Corps Force Recon. It works well with anyone, but it is ideal for General Hawk, Tunnel Rat, Flint, or anyone else who doesn’t mind some recoil and splatter potential at close range. Anyone who has a “traditional” soldier way about them would do well to wield it. -H&K G36 (City Strike Duke, City Strike Snake Eyes) H&K has some awesome weapons, and they impress me constantly. They may be one of the last awesome gun manufacturers in the world. The G36 assault rifle is one of the more modern weapons, and is becoming integrated into more and more military organizations. It’s just a simple, reliable, easy weapon. It works great with anyone. And I mean that. It’s got a “soldier” look, but also could work well with anyone who needs a rifle. One of the best weapons Hasbro has put out. It’s a good troop-building assault rifle. -M2 Browning machine gun (Roadblock, Cobra Night Watch) “Ma Deuce” has been around for a while. As a matter of fact, she’s the oldest weapon still in use in the US Armed Forces. She changed the face of war. And just like 90% of all the inventions mankind prides itself on, this one can reduce someone to a fine red mist and a memory. There’s an old soldiers’ tale that the rounds from this weapon don’t even need to hit you to kill you, that if the round blasts by 2 feet of you it’ll tear your arm off. I don’t know if this is true, but I’m going to need a volunteer to sign a waiver before we get started testing this out. Another Soldiers’ tale is that it’s against the Geneva Convention to use this against personnel, and that you can only use it against equipment- however, canteens and uniforms fit into the description of “equipment”. I know it’s Roadblock’s signature weapon, and I know he wields it like a toy. But that’s pushing the B.S. flag in my opinion. It’s great to have in a gun position mounted on a tripod, and works great against lightly armored vehicles. Or BATs. -Taurus Raging Bull 500 (Resolute Pilot Destro) A long time ago, gun scientists learned that if you shoot someone to death, they crap their pants. Of course, with the introduction of the Taurus Raging Bull 500 series- we’ve learned you can make someone crap their pants first. The Raging Bull fires a round that kills the hell out of anything you shoot. Its smaller 454 version has been used to hunt African Elephants. Yeah, read that again. And this is the .500 magnum version The .500 S&W Magnum is so powerful that the shock wave from the detonation of a cartridge can cause eye and hearing damage. That means shooting this gun can mess your face up. You’d better really, really hate whatever it is you’re shooting. Yeah, since it comes with Destro, I’d let him keep it… since obviously he’s big enough to wield a hand cannon like this. Otherwise, make sure someone crazy and destructive uses it and make sure they aren’t a pansy. -H&K MP7 (Paris Pursuit Baroness, Pit Commando) The MP7 is the potential “replacement” for the MP5, and the current PDW (Personal Defense Weapon) rival to the FN P90 submachine gun. Like the FN P90, it uses rounds made especially for the weapon. These special-made 4.6 x 30 rounds are designed to penetrate armor and shred meat; making them far more effective than other standard SMG’s which use conventional pistol ammunition. It functions similar to the H&K G36 rifle, with nearly the same muzzle velocity as a 5.56 round. Its power is all the more impressive when you consider this weapon’s ability to be wielded and carried like many pistols and smaller SMG’s. Further making this weapon impressive is the array of modifications that can be added. I have this weapon currently equipped with City Strike Snake Eyes, as I see it as similar enough to the Uzi in shape and more superior in performance. It fits him nicely, and can be used on other commandos or vehicle drivers. -H&K G11 (Jungle Assault Ripcord, Agent Helix) I bet you rolled your eyes and threw this thing in a box whenever you saw it, because you thought it was a laser gun. Well, it’s actually a pretty advance rifle. And you might be shocked. The H&K G11 is a non-production prototype assault rifle built during the 70’s and 80’s. It fires caseless ammunition, and that’s awesome. Also, no recoil until the 3rd round of a 3-round burst. It also has a pretty decent rate of fire. The only problem with this weapon is the cook-off. Solid propellant ammunition doesn’t like getting hot. Of course, it’s a good sniper/covert weapon, since it leaves behind no evidence. It’s ugly, but pretty damned useful. Also, if 30 rounds did need to cook off at once, I can think of no one better for that to happen to than Ripcord. -M134 General Electric Minigun (Heavy Duty) This thing fires one hundred and sixty times per second. That’s all you need to know. It shoots a lot of bullets. Fast. Seriously, if you need more information than that to make something awesome, you’re retarded. Pull trigger, lots of lead go out real fast, and it make a lot of people dead real good. Oh, and it’s also perfectly legal to own one of these. I’m serious. The only problem is that they cost $400,000.00 a pop. Also, one second of firing this thing costs $60. So basically, there are other investments you should worry about- like a home or Ferrari. Who should use it? Heavy Duty or Roadblock. It’s no small toy that anyone can just strap on and use, and I’m tempted to say that having either of those guys using one borderlines on “B.S.”, as the recoil would have anyone bouncing around and spraying bullets in random directions like a loose fire hose of murder. -Polish PMM (City Strike Duke) I’m not going to lie, when I first saw this weapon, I thought someone at Hasbro was either being innovatively corny, or trying to make a “chopped in half G36” statement. But no, apparently it’s a polish SMG. And that’s about all I’ve got on it. I’m supposed to make some joke about the Polish military and their weapons, as this one has never been fired and only dropped once. I can’t think of a single person I’d give this too. It’s too unwieldy, and I’d probably just lay it aside for a while. Seems kind of useless whenever other, mo’ better SMG’s are lying around. That's all for now, folks. I'll be back with more! Coming Soon: -Browning Hi-Power (25th Scarlett) -Desert Eagle .50 (ROC Shipwreck) -H&K MP5/MP5K (Para-Viper, Destro) -Dragunov Sniper Rifle (25th Cobra Troopers) -M249 SAW (25th V2 Roadblock) -H&K UMP (Elite Viper, Alley Viper) -FN P90 (Mercenary Wraith) -FAMAS (Best of the 80’s Dusty) -Colt Single Action Army (Wild Bill, Crimson Guard 5-Pack) -PGM .338 (Resolute Zartan) -Kulsprutepistol m/45 (Kpist m/45), also known as the Carl Gustav M/45 (Firefly) -M-11 (Stalker) -QCW-05 (Paris Pursuit Baroness) -Colt Canadian C7 (Crimson Guard Last edited by Baron Samedi; 10-20-2009 at 12:20 AM.. |

Someone needs to take this, add pics of the guns, and put it in downloadable/printable format so I can print and read in my boring business meetings while I pretend to be reading the company handouts. Thank you.

Well, people... it's time for another addition to the Yo Joe Gun Show! Grab a beer and take off your shirt, it's time to talk GUNS! Having a problem with my computer- internet shuts down whenever I upload images.
Little known secret about military pistols: Ever wondered why the first people issued sidearms were officers and senior noncommissioned officers? It’s not only to kill the enemy, but rather to “motivate and discipline” their subordinates. Yes, that’s right. Pistols were issued to deal with uncooperative troops and carry out summary executions. -Browning Hi-Power (25th Scarlett) The Browning Hi-Power is a weapon designed by the late John Browning. Its design was finalized after his death, forever earning him the “Kill Beyond the Grave” achievement. Fabrique Nationale has since improved the design and refined it. John Browning designed the earlier mentioned 1911 pistol and sold the rights to Colt. The Browning Hi-Power was designed because the French needed a new military service pistol to meet their requirements (dropping them at the feet of the Germans in surrender damaged earlier models). Also, someone had to be the first to fire a wimp pistol, and the French were ideal candidates. I’m quite surprised John Browning didn’t include white flags with each and every one. It’s a 9mm handgun with a 13-round capacity. Despite most people’s notion (and my insensitive remarks) that a 9mm round is worthless, it is quite effective. If you doubt this at all, please allow me to illustrate my point- you’re getting shot, dumbass. It hurts and if the bullet hits something important, you die. Yes, body armor may help you… but even then, if you get close (like, let’s just say within “ideal effective range of a 9mm handgun” close), then it may penetrate the body armor enough to cause more severe wounds (as now that lead round has expanded to twice its original size) or at least hurt like hell and crack some ribs. Plus, 9mm ammunition is plentiful and inexpensive. I don’t see any reason why anyone couldn’t use this pistol. It’s reliable, pretty standard looking, and easy to wield. Right now on my shelf, Lady Jaye has this one. I didn’t have any French Joes so a woman had to suffice. I’m sorry, Lady Jaye… you’re just more of a man than any Frenchie. -Desert Eagle .50 (ROC Shipwreck) The Desert Eagle is an impressive pistol, at least as far as Hollywood is concerned. Most of them range in the $1000 price range. They function the same as the M16 and other assault rifles, as they are gas-operated weapons. It was originally intended to be a revolver, but was later changed to be a semi-automatic. The upside of the Desert Eagle is threefold: 1.) It can fire bigger cartridges that were normally made for magnum revolvers, 2.) You can trade out the parts and use several different calibers, and (3. It looks pretty damned cool. Otherwise, it’s not a good weapon. It’s heavy, almost as much as an M16 fully loaded. That’s right- this pistol weighs as much as a rifle that has more range and more rounds. Also, if you know anything about gas-operated weapons, you know they like to jam up and lock up whenever they get dirty, making this a liability in a desert, swamp, or anything not a collector’s cabinet. It also likes only jacketed rounds, as the debris from unjacketed bullets clogs it up- in other words, for a weapon that was supposed to outperform revolvers, its only advantage over them is two more damned bullets. I have no idea why Shipwreck would have this pistol. It’s not wise for someone who spends time swimming in the water to have an 8-pound hand cannon strapped to one hip. Cobra Commander or Tomax and Xamot would likely use this, because it inspires some degree of intimidation and arrogance… or at least it says you have money to piss away. -H&K MP5/MP5K/MP5K PDW (Para-Viper, Destro, Elite-Viper; respectively) The MP5 family is a trusted SMG that is widely used in 40 countries (officially, at least). It is based on the G3 assault rifle layout that got H&K their reputation to start with. It is a simple-to-use weapon that many troops and police forces claim to be “a comfortable weapon to use”, much like a sock full of hot nickels in a bar fight (just try it, dude). All around, they are good weapons that have had a good run. The MP5K is a smaller version of the MP5 without a butt stock and a shortened bolt and receiver. This made it ideal for close-quarters combat, and when equipped with a shorter magazine, it could be kept inside the coat of a large man or stored inside a briefcase (as many Secret Service agents can attest to). The MP5K PDW is basically a more “combat-oriented” version of the MP5K that adds a folding stock, 3-lug barrel for attachments, and 3-round burst fire. -Dragunov Sniper Rifle (25th Cobra Troopers) Snayperskaya Vintovka Dragunova (SVD), literally "Dragunov Sniper Rifle” is a long-barreled 7.62 mm sniper rifle that has been around since the 60’s. And it does a pretty damn good job, at least in its lane of use. Its similarities to the AK-47 are purely cosmetic, as the two weapons are from different manufacturers. It can mount a bayonet, it is lightweight, and holds 10 rounds (although larger magazines are available from 3rd parties). It is known for its distinctive “CRACK” sound when firing, that sends chills up the spine of most OIF and OEF veterans like me. It wasn’t designed for snipers with exceptional training, but rather for designated unit marksmen. Also, it is an inexpensive weapon to manufacture and wasn’t made for the pros- in other words, you give this to the one dumbass who just manages to shoot better than the other dumbass in your semi-cohesive unit of conscripted dumbasses… or, an insurgent with no formal military training to simply pick off a few of the occupying infidels. Either way, it’s about the same. It’s hard to say who needs this weapon. If you’re a troop builder, I’d let a few of the Cobra Troopers have them to balance out the unit… maybe even some Vipers. If you have the female Vipers from the convention, it’s worth noting that many female snipers favor this rifle. -M249 SAW (25th V2 Roadblock) Ah, my precious, purring baby. This weapon, she’s beautiful. The gentle “chup-chup-chup” sound she makes, the gentle- yet impressive recoil… the changing of her barrel after 200 rounds is like removing a stripper’s top with your teeth- it was awesome and now there’s still more fun to be had. The SAW (Squad Automatic Weapon) is the answer to a problem in US military ground troops- certain troops were selected to fire their rifles on full auto to lay down suppressive fire when no M60’s or M2’s were available. If you know anything about what full auto can do to a standard rifle, just think “red-hot wet noodle” and “cook-off” rolled together. So, we needed a new weapon. Fortunately, the guys down at FN had a weapon called the “Minimi”, which is strangely more likable than Verne Troyer and likely less used than all of the lines from those stupid damned Austin Powers movies. It can be modified with a collapsible stock (as seen in the M4), short stock (also called the “paratrooper stock”), short barrel (paratrooper muzzle), and a rail mounting system to incorporate flashlights, laser sights, and the famous “gangster grip”. All the parts for the variants are interchangeable. The drums hold 200 rounds of belt-fed ammunition. And she gets HOT. Roadblock is a lucky man, but any machine gunner knows how wonderful this weapon is. It can be handed out to anyone who would need to lay down suppressive fire. -H&K UMP/USC (Alley Viper, 5-Pack black Baroness) The H&K UMP (Universal Machine Pistol) fires a standard .45 caliber round from a 25-round magazine. It has a slower rate of fire than most SMG’s on the market, simply because firing .45 rounds at full auto isn’t easy. Its slow rate of fire is compensated by the fact that you’re shooting damned .45 caliber rounds at someone. It works itself out. It is highly effective against unarmored targets. Armored targets will receive broken ribs and bruises and have the wind knocked from their lungs, at which point they will be shot in the face and mocked later. If fires in semi-automatic, full auto, and 2-round burst. The Baroness sports a civilian version of this rifle known as the USC (Universal Self-Loading Carbine), to comply with the Assault Weapons Ban of 1994 (that has somehow made our country less safe. Maybe people were less inclined to pull a pistol out on someone who was carrying an automatic weapon. Only Chuck Heston knows, and he wrote the 10 Commandments with an AK-47.) However, the baroness has added the extended magazine, which is sort of like giving the finger to Bill Clinton. Since it is made for close combat, the Alley Vipers are made to carry this one. Ship boarding crews and covert ops can use it fairly well, too. The USC does well with women, since it has such an elegant look to it. Well, women and French. -FN P90 (Mercenary Wraith) The FN P90 is a project from the 1990’s with the intent of arming drivers, mechanics, and non-infantry support staff with a submachine gun that had more stopping power than a standard SMG that fires pistol-caliber rounds. Its design is so that it doesn’t catch, snag, obstruct, or otherwise interfere with tasks and can still be brought to a firing position in a snap. Like the H&K MP7, it fires a special round made especially for the weapon: 5.7x28mm, which is effective against armored targets and shreds soft tissue into hamburger meat. It can be fired by lefties or righties with no modification to the weapon whatsoever. It ejects its rounds behind the pistol grip, which raises many questions about firing it in a moving vehicle- maybe you want hot brass all over your crotch, but I’ll pass. A clear 50-round magazine is mounted along the top of the weapon, providing the weapon’s operator visibility of how many rounds are left. Ugly as it may be, it’s a cool weapon. The only problem is that Hasbro has given us one the size of a damned rocket launcher. If they make a decent one, save it for your covert ops, high-tech vehicle drivers, and Cobra support staff. -Colt Single Action Army (Wild Bill, Crimson Guard 5-Pack) One of the greatest guns ever made. It has nicknames like the “Peacemaker”, “Peacekeeper”, “Equalizer”, and “Shut Your Damned Mouth Because I Have the Best Gun Ever Made”. It fires a .45 caliber round, which is enough to kill someone. Considering that this weapon was introduced to fight unarmored people (Indians, Outlaws, and whoever else pissed you off at the Saloon) it was highly effective. It has multiple variations, too many to list. It has been named the greatest gun ever made, and it’s really hard to argue with someone about that when they point it at your face and spit tobacco juice on your boots. Seriously, I believe him. Being a revolver, it comes with all the simplicity and reliability of a revolver. Some folks argue with autoloaders over six-shooters, but there aren’t many things that need more than one or two bullets. If six .45 caliber rounds don’t kill it, it should have every right to kill you instead because you shouldn’t have been shooting at something that badass in the first place. It’s the law. People don’t even have to come to your funeral, either. Wild Bill has one, and I see why. Also, for some reason, Crimson Guardsmen have them, too. I can’t explain this, but I guess they give them out at Harvard and Yale. Other folks that have wielded it include: Wyatt Earp, William Barclay 'Bat' Masterson, T.E. Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia, the weapon save his life when an Arabian bandit took it and tried to shoot him with it and couldn’t figure out the single-action mechanism), and General George S. Patton (who was certifiably insane, but got the damned job done, so he can carry a 6-foot pink rubber penis with nails in it for all I care). |

-M4 Carbine w/ M203 grenade launcher (Desert Duke)
The M-4 is the graduation of the M16 series of weapons. Duke would use it, with his boy scout American Soldier ways… but otherwise it’s not as cool as other weapons.. It does have it's positives though. Futureweapons had a couple eps devoted to some of the lego sets they're building for it. By replacing the barrel and some other bits I'm not gun-crazy enough to remember, it can be converted to a (comparitively) short-range snipers rifle without having a guy in your squad devoted to just carrying a snipers rifle, or worse, two seperate rifles. I forget it's range, but it's better than the M4s, so it's at least 400yrds. The Beowulf is another kit that converts a standard M4 into a .50 rifle(!). Basically, the thing you'd use if you were really pissed off at a vehicle and didn't have enough room in your backpack for a Browning M2. Ammo is limited, but you're firing custom .50 rounds, so you probably don't need too many. Also, the M4 is very accurate. Soldiers have been brought up on charges for executing enemy soldiers, only for the evidence to reveal that the bullet fired was from up to 200yrds away. At that range, the apricot might as well be a watermelon. Not bad for a carbine. The AR-15 and it's bretheren are perfect for urban environments where you want to take out some pesky insurgent running for cover in the street while you're up in a 10th floor window. Anywhere else? Well, make sure to pack some condoms (which any smart soldier would probably have anyway, y'know, for balloon animal decoys). The AK, while a million times more reliable, has accuracy issues. So yeah, we like to overengineer and make things needlessly complicated, but our weapons definately aren't shit. PS: Good thread! Looking forward to future installments. I think it is worth making a note that this is my original work. If you feel the need to reference it- or copy and paste it anywhere else, you may do so- as long as you give credit to its originator. I do not appreciate my work being claimed by others.

If I'm thinking about the right gun the M4 sniper barrel has a range of 1,000yrds. And I thought that a company had made a version of the M4 that was more durable is harsh conditions? Or am I thinking of a different gun?
