Everyone should take a moment out of their day today to reflect on the tragedy of 9/11/01. We should always remember those that sacrificed their lives, and those that were brutally murdered on that horrific day.

I bought the fireman coffee who was in line behind me at DD this AM, and then kicked the guy behind the counter in the arse! J/K
Seriously, I did buy the fireman coffee and then I thanked HIM. Hug your cop, fireman, or service member today.

A buddy of mine rented out our park downtown so I will be out there later today after work talking to people. Here we stand today: Alot of people died for nothing and my thoughts go out to their families and the first responders, a lot of which now have cancer from breathing in the debris, who the government still has not taken care of.

Okay I am getting pissed. This thread is about remembering the innocent souls lost on a day of tragedy. Some of us may have known folks who died, or like me, been in the World Trade Center buildings at some point in our lives, bringing the tragedy all the more real. This thread is NOT intended for political commentary or negative bs. A couple thousand folks died, who did and why is beyond the point.

I completely agree. I'm from Argentina but believe when I say that day was a sad one for me too because many innocent people died. When I saw the images on TV I just couldn't believe it. The craziest thing was that few months before (Frebruary of that same year) I went there with my father and I have pics in the top floor. I still can't imagine NY without them.
