First of all, sorry for mistakes, English is my second language.

I tried to buy a figure on Hiss Tank from 2 different people. Those were going to be international sales, from USA to Brazil.

Both of them told me that selling with Paypal Goods and Services was bad and they would not do it. I even offered to pay more to cover Paypal seller taxes.

One of them told me to try other payment types. Than talked about gift cards even cryptocurrency - those last 2 I find a lot suspicious.

Where I live, Brazil, Paypal does not have the friends and family option.

But I also heard that Paypal has bad service to sellers.

So, do you think those sales were suspicious? Or they were really worried about bad treatment from Paypal? Any other safe type of international money exchange that you have used like Paypal?

I've sold lots of things through the sibling forum tfw2005. I don't do international only because shipping fees are so high. But as far as actual sales transactions, I never refuse if someone wants to pay goods and services over friends and family, especially if the buyer covers the fees. Unless they sell a lot of items and want to hide it from tax purposes, anyone who rejects goods and services is suspect in my book. And looking to rip you off. Paypal has been more frequent in siding with the buyer over the seller in disputes though. If seller keeps good records and documents everything with photographs there is no way seller gets screwed over. My opinion, you were wise to trust instincts. Never do crypto or gift card or friends and family with someone you don't trust.

i wouldnt send my money to anyone that wouldnt do goods and services. if they wont take a 3% bump to take it, then i dont need whatever they have.

if they're an active member posting in threads, that's pretty scummy they wont accept goods and services. scam artists pull shit like that. do better.
