Unfortunately the exact page for the female steelbrigade wasn't saved but the main page for Action Force was and it has the url showing the image of the figure we all thought that was being sold. They are still using the same url in my order summary so this shows that they changed the images.

I wonder if they'll follow through with current in-stock orders. They just had a Black Friday sale so I'm sure some of their regular customers bought some stuff recently.

Honestly, I didnt used to buy figures from either BBTS or dorkside, this is a recent thing for me, i usually either buy from ebay, target or hasbro, but i have up till this week, had very positive experiences with dorkside, i will say i bought a NECA mummy accessory set and it took weeks to arrive, was sitting in a suburb of Columbus and i contacted the post office and dorkside, i did get help from dorkside customer service and they were helpful and friendly, that was just a month ago.
I am disappointed if they in actually did switch the AF Steel brigade from female to male, but will not lose any sleep over it, just shadey to do that, perhaps they shipped what they had as they knew they were going under and just filled orders to clear the books so to speak, guess we will not know for sure.

Just not a good way to go out. I understand that things are probably tough right now for them but it gives them no excuse to screw over customers expecting to get one item and then switch it with another while covering your tracks. Completely trashes whatever good reputation they built over the years. It's interesting that all the Action Force listing disappeared yesterday. I'm thinking Vala contacted them and bought back all their Action Force stock so that his brand isn't going to be associated with this debacle. Also, allows Vala to sell the remaining stock of the exclusive Dorkside trooper so that Dorkside isn't forced to clearance them or lose them when the debt collectors come knocking. The collapse of Dorkside Toys is going to make the bankruptcy of Megalopolis pale in comparison. So many customers that pre-ordered via paypal are going to be completely screwed.

So, I sent them a email, nothing related to an order, just saying i appreciated their good customer service in the past, that i had purchased a few things from them, not alot, heard they were going out of business and that they would be missed in the online market place, I got a reply:
"A thousand blessings to you and your family! Thank you for your support over the years. We couldn't be more grateful."
That certainly sounds like a going out of business reply

Interesting that they replied to an email like the one you sent but couldn't be bothered to reply to any customer service emails asking why they charged and shipped us the wrong figure. I think any possibility of doing a standard return and charge back to your credit card are now next to zero.

Exactly, they didn't respond to my concern about the swapped AF steel brigade figure, but do respond to me saying they would be missed and sad to see them go out of business, they did not even try to deny that they were in bad shape, onl they appreciated the support, which to their credit, they didnt need to say anything at all.
