Does anyone else feel like they just don't fit in...anywhere?

I think that when God created us he placed a void in our hearts that only he can satisfy. Material things fall short as do alcohol or drugs. Even relationships with other people cannot substitute for the peace that Jesus brings to you.

Dont feel bad its just how the world is today, it has changed drastically the past 2 years! The world seems like its dumbed down because it really is! Not being a angry old man but people have become really soft & insufferable! Every time I leave the house I see something disgusting!

When i was younger i always felt awkward and kept to myself, now, im 50, im not worried about what people think of me, more confident in myself.
I agree the world feels horrible, its gotten bad IMO over the last 6 or 7 years, maybe i feel that way when i see reality shows that show the worst of humanity, politics is very tribal now, no in the middle anymore, to much us vs. them.
I personally try to be nice whenever i can, generally i am a nice guy, help people when i can, curtiuos to strangers, maybe its because of my generation, best anyone can do is just be good to people.

Sometimes I do feel like that. However, as it is stated in a new article I've recently read, "there's absolutely nothing wrong with doing your own things, living an independent life, not paying attention to someone's else opinion". We face many changes every day. So I don't really focus on that "not fitting" state in a certain period of my life.
