Shit. There was a point in my life when I was unemployed, living in an apartment I could t afford, bouncing checks just to get groceries without having to beg my parents for money, and all in all just being a sorry and irresponsible excuse for a human being.

I couldn't have changed those circumstances without the most supportive parents in the world, but I decided to take college seriously, worked my ass off, met a wonderful woman I got to marry, and landed a sweet full time gig doing setting I love on a daily basis.

Things today are so different from what they were a little over ten years ago that it's staggering. I credit that to support and education.

But I still have nightmares about being back in that apartment scrounging up change for McDonalds.

Twenty five years ago, I was alone in my first place. Depressed, living on gas station chicken and pizza. A typical Friday night included a tube of chocolate chip cookie dough and a 2 liter of Pepsi. And watching the Playboy channel.I gained 50 to 60 pounds. One Saturday, my younger brother stopped by and yelled at me to get off my ass, and nock it off. I wasn't myself, and he knew it. That tough love I will always be thankful to him for. A year later I was dating my future wife.

reading you guys' stories makes me see that there are so many people who are in difficult time. I also in a difficult situation, feel depressed, tired, want to give up but somehow I still try to get up everyday, get my ass to work and live , hangout with friends. Sometimes I don't see any light in my life but I don't know why I continue living. Maybe I just want to see how it ends because some people say that everything will be ok, if it's not ok, it won't be the end
