Snake Eyes and Batman are hunting the Joker. Snake Eyes wanders into a room in the Gotham City Hall that Joker's holed up in. Batman comes in and sees Snake Eyes and thinks he's a villain and attacks him.

Okay, after having read this thread, it is clear I have to chime in on two major points.

Batman is exactly the kind of dick who sits around and thinks about how to take out his allies (I do not know if the word “friends” applies to him). That is what makes Batman Batman. It is also very possibly what enables him to defeat Snake-Eyes with prep time (but probably not without).

Santa Claus is not the most important fictional creation of our time. By definition, you have to not exist to be a fictional character. Santa Claus is real.
