That's a great idea, I would use that for sure.

I think this is a good idea. The toy locator and a toy archive are good. Maybe even a function to check off things you already have as well.
Also, it would be nice if you could publish your "have" list and other friends and/or family members that help you collect can see what you already have. It would be great for Christmas shopping as well so you don't get duplicates. Another idea is to put something on a watch list within a certain area or group of stores. Then you will receive an alert when someone posts that they found something you are looking for in your area or stores that your frequent. Another good bit of info is the ablity to track when shipments arrive at a store. For example, say a person walks into TRU and notices they are in process of stocking some new toys. You could post the day/time/store/product line of when you saw this. Then you could see the store history of when they have stocked in the past. After a while you will see the trend for that store. Also, maybe when you look at a store you can see a section listing any special sales going on at the moment. I'm sure pricing will be part of the info, so it would be good to be able to sort by product and price and see all the stores where it was spotted and comparison price to see where the best deal is. OK, that's enough, I'll stop now. |
