I love Rainier Beer... followed by Hamms. They are both primarily beers from the Pacific Northwest. When I'm out at a oriental eatery I'll go with Asahi. But I recently discovered a dark ale... and love it. Trois Pistoles put out by Unibroue. Great.

Some of my favorite beers:
Michelob Amber Bock Leinie's Sunset Wheat, 1888 Bock, Summer Shandy, Red, Classic Amber... others. Guiness PBR when I'm poor many many others. I usually like the darker beers, and like to try random beers (about to finish my first Old Chicago Beer Tour). |

Heineken's usually my go-to beer these days. Also really like the microbrewery stuff up here - Garrison and Propeller, Hoegarden from time to time, and some of the German imports once in a while. I always seem to get Sam Adams when I'm in the US, too.

Victoria bitter is a true austrailian beer non of that fosters crap, and Pacifico is great mexican beer that is an excellent compliment to mexican or latin food.

My dad and I are into home brewing...best I ever had? Russian Imperial Stout with half a cup of mollasses added in...a religious experience...
Second place goes to red ale that was aged in mini-kegs, one woman I know described it as a liquid sex. Waiting on-a porter I made only I added hints of vanilla to the mix, hoping for an amazing contrast. |
