Today, October 18, 2021, a real life G.I. Joe has passed away.

I would address you as "Secretary", but I remember that you preferred to be called "General".

Your former command here at Fort Campbell, your nation, and perhaps even much of the world honors your memory.

Hasbro previously honored you with a 1998 G.I. Joe General Colin L. Powell Classic Collection action figure.

May you rest in peace, General.
