Yikes, I hadn't heard that. I'm not a rabid fan of the Japanese scene, but I have seen Misawa wrestle a few times. That sucks.

The Four Horseman-Ric Flair, Barry Windham, Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, and James Dillion. That was when NWA-
WCW was good. I remember watching Wrestlemania 1 on VHS tape. Those were the days. To much BS in wrestling now, but I have to admit that when the NWO came out and Stone Cold was blowing up in the WWF, those were great days to be a wrestling fan. John Cena is a bitch.

Wrestling isn't like what it used to be.I miss the Monday Night Wars era.I still go to local independent wrestling shows just to meet some current and former stars for meet and greet photo op. autographs.Recently this summer I've met Kevin Nash/Diesel,Hart Foundation:Bret Hart,Jim Neidhart,Jimmy Hart,King Kong Bundy,Angelina Love,Velvet Sky as seen in my avatar and yes they are much better looking and bouncier in person I have plans to go see Ric Flair and Scott Hall/Razor Ramon this month

I kinda like TNA.
It reminds me a bit of when wrestling was better. WWE isn't what it used to be, I still watch it because I'm a big fan of escapist entertainment. |

Wrestling today is all about who makes the other bleed first, mad hardcore fights with barbwire, staple guns and ladders. The days of the Hulkster, Andre the Giant, Sgt Slaughter, Macho Man, Roddy Piper, Superfly Jimmy Snuka, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Ultimate Warrior, Ravishing Rick Rude, Brutus the Barber Beefcake, Demolition, Rockers, British Bulldogs and the Hart Foundation. All these guys rule.

I'd love to see Punk vs Morrison. They had a great match on SD last week but I think Punk is going to get into a fued with Matt Hardy since Jeff is suppose to leave after Summerslam, which kinda leaves Morrison up in the air, but Miz vs Morrison would be cool. They keep wasting Miz.

It depends which wrestling you are watching. If you are watching TNA or WWE, no, it's not like that at all. Ladders, yes, but that's about it. Even bleeding is rare now. It's PG.

The '80s were the best. Even the resurgence in the '90s can't top that!! I can't stand how they start feuds between characters and have them build up to pay-per-views only to have no real conclusions. I mean, wrestler X will have a match against Y only to have a DQ or some other means of ending the match with no clear victor for weeks leading up to a PPV. Smack-talking ensues. When the PPV takes place, they usually follow it up on the Monday show with the exact same match!
I haven't watched since prob 2004ish when they taped a Smackdown at the Sports Arena. I've been to house shows as a kid (and once as an adult) and I'll admit, they're kind of a let down. Doesn't have the same energy as it does on TV. When I went to the Smackdown event, its the exact same thing! They let you know when the camera's on so that you can scream and yell and stuff, but when its off is so quiet that you can hear a pin drop!
