Full sized bed or twin sized bed for someone that's 5'5?

Which bed frame is the best to have for someone that's 5'5 feet?

later this year maybe around christmas im planning on getting myself a new bed frame that has metal bars to insert.

im tired of the stupid box spring bed frames that ive had for like 15 years

I've always hated the metal frames. Get a wooden bed frame. Reduces squeaks and pops. So quiet you'll sleep like a drunken whaler. ;)

I would go full wood. Metal frames are flimsy, and twin size is too small. Best of luck!

well i prefer steel/metal bed frame this time.

Im 5'5 and personally I think a Twin size XL bed frame would be fine for me.

My guests get a sleeping bag and the couch….unless its a really hot chick then theres always the option of sharing my bed. Haha

To get a wood frame of much quality will be heavy. Better make sure you have the muscle--or live on the first floor ;)

Twin and fullsize are the same length (75") and will give you a total of 10" more than your standing height. If you feel like that's enough room for a pillow and whatever amount of toe pointing you do while laying down then either one will work just the same. If not, extra-long twin and extra-long full are both 80" long and will definitely fit you. The challenge then becomes finding sheets in those sizes. A lot of college dorms have xl-twin beds so finding those sheets might be easier than xl-full. I've never actually looked for xl-full so I don't know how hard-to-find they are.

With that said, if you're going xl-full then a queen size is only 6 inches wider and sheets are very easy to find. May as well just go to queen size.

Unless your bedroom is just that darn small, why on earth, would any grown man sleep on anything smaller than a King? I mean seriously. Not to mention, even if you're single, at some point you would want to share the bed with someone else? This is a weird ass thread. Get a damn King.
