Any other AEW fans out there? I'm looking forward to Double of Nothing tonight, especially the Stadium Stampede match. The first one was very entertaining.

I dont know. AEW seems like a bunch of guys that do not know it is time to toss in the tights.

My favorite pro-wrestling memories center around watching Nitro each week with my dad. I love WCW to this day. Anyway, even before they got on TNT, AEW gave me a WCW vibe, and I've been on-board since their first PPV.
The shows are a bit of a mixed bag. I could rattle off positives and negatives, but I'd probably just be saying things people have already said a million times before. Selling could be better, less spots more psychology, stop diving into twelve guys waiting to catch you.... Well booked feuds, diverse matches that don't rely solely on signature spots, no three hour commitments during the week, Sting getting the sendoff he deserves....lots to love there. But Cody popping up at Mania in his same AEW presentation? That's a nail in the coffin. That's the Fed showing the world that, no matter what, it's always gonna come back around to McMahon Land sooner or later. That's just how it is. And that's fine. I'm not even a huge Cody fan. But his appearance did kinda drive that point home for me and made me a little sad in a weird way. I'll still support AEW, but my wrestling fandom is starting to retreat back into the 90s where it has spent most of its time the past fifteen years or so.

I started watching wrestling in 1985, and was way more into the NWA than WWF. I watched NWA/WCW religiously until 1998. I think that it way I like AEW so much, like you said, there is an "WCW-vibe."
