I like reading non-fiction (autobiographical) books about wars, special forces and special missions. What books can you recommend?
IMO these are great reads: Inside Delta Force - Eric Haney Bravo Two Zero - Andy McNab Seven Troop - Andy McNab SEAL Team Six - Howard Wasdin Untold stories from the Band of Brothers - Marcus Brotherton Beyond Band of Brothers: The war memoirs of major Dick Winters American Sniper - Chris Kyle Recently finished SOG: The Secret Wars of America's Commandos in Vietnam.. Very impressive, also pretty tragical at some passages when they had to leave men behind, MIA's and POW's. Fighting for the French Foreign Legion: Memoirs of a Scottish Legionnaire - Alex Lochrie The tunnels of Cu Chi - Tom Mangold I like the fact that it tells the story from both sides, how the US tunnel rats and the NVA experienced the Vietnam war with the focus on the underground battlefields. |

I've read "Inside Delta Force" and "American Sniper", both are excellent reads. I'd recommend "Making The Corps" by Thomas E. Ricks and "Boot" by Daniel da Cruz.

It’s a bit more Agents of Shield than Gi Joe, but any books in Joe Ledger series is very Joe to me.
It’s a spec ops team that battles terrorists that use anything from drones, robot dogs, genetically modified soldiers, zombies, quasi vampires. |
