I’m thinking some people will think it’s dumb, but I really liked it, and not because I like 50’s style shows because I don’t! But it gives just the slightest glimpse of a darker story. And the acting is excellent. You know there’s a reason they are in a 1950’s show, but you don’t know what that reason is.

watched the first episode tonight. Wasnt bad just got to get used to the 50s stuff. Im sure there is a reason.

I liked episode 2 more. I’d like to see a breakdown of the Easter eggs/clues.

It's not for passive mcu fans like my wife. If you're going to depend on Easter egg break downs for each episode, they're going to lose people. I do have high hopes for the success of the season. I did like it myself.

Agreed. My wife got that it was some kind of fantasy world and that a big reveal would eventually happen. She was okay with two episodes... but said she can't keep up with the gimmick for a full "season". I'm guessing 8 episodes. Is that right?

I've seen/heard all kinds of theories of what it's all leading to. Mojo. Wundagore and the High Evolutionary. Mephisto. Agatha Harkness. The Soul Gem and "Soul World". Nightmare (the Dr. Strange foe). Some techno thing by SWORD. Even Master Pandemonium. Right now, it's all up in the air and I don't see any strong or obvious directions.

I think the "theories" are all the result of fanboy speculating. It's fun and all, and I like to speculate as well... but nothing's set. I always say: lock a comic fan in a room and tell them to connect any 2 (or more) existing plots, characters or concepts. Wait 15 minutes and you'll have your answer.

My wife isn’t deep into marvel at all and she loved it. I think the gimmick will shift between sitcom formats so hopefully it’ll stay fresh in that context.
