Any plumbers in the house that have heard of the chemical called Drain Rescue and if so is it any good?

Please only answer if you know the product not any of the "chemicals wont work",etc type post.

I haven't tried that one, but, I've had success with something called Liquid Fire. They sell it as Ace Hardware.

*Very important you take that one seriously. It can burn through your skin on clothing instantly*

I have never heard of the product. I am not licensed plumber but I am in HVAC and currently Work maintenance. The best product of your typical clog that I come across is called hair and grease remover and it's sold at Home depot. For bigger issues I've used Mainline clearer. NEVER pour any of that shit into a toilet though. Get a snake for that. Hope that helps.

I get this stuff called Release at my local hardware store. It's concentrated sulfuric acid. Pretty sure I can dispose of a body with this. It unclogs anything in the sink or toilet. I made the mistake last month of mopping up the basement with some bleach a day after I poured some release down the drain. Made a nice little chlorine gas cloud that nearly killed me.

Sorry not familiar with the product just make a note if the product is for PVC or cast iron waste pipes and see what you have in your home. Some products rely on a chemical reaction with standing water and metal to work, if your pipes aren't metal the product may not wok as intended, others may not be suitable for PVC, or be specifically for PVC. Just make sure the product is appropriate for your home set up. (this applies to all of you)

If this helps, I stopped buying drain cleaners years ago. Now I just block up any other drains in the room, fill the clogged fixture half way with water and plug in the 16 gallon Shop Vac. Works every time and it really pulls the gunk out of your pipes.
