Haven't bought anything but will as some Modern Era/Resolute figures trickle their way in.

lol, to each his or her own. You have a nice collection going K.
I would NEVER tell anyone not to buy ROC. I just want some honest debate on the toys. Maybe it's the more and more I see them, the less into them I am? I was speaking with Proof the other night on the phone, she also agreed that the "25th rush" feeling isn't there. Any thoughts?

The rush of it not being there... I agree with that. It's still new product and like I said some of the pieces work with the classic stuff. I'm an old man though. If Hasbro would just serve up the GI Joe I grew up with and stay off my lawn I'd be pleased as hell.
The truth is though, they need to reinvent the brand and open up it's field of potential buyers. That means change. If change has to occur, at least it has a few things I really enjoy mixed in there.

Resloute should have been the wave of the future.
- all the needless deaths of course.

The only bad spin off to come out of Joe is Sigma Six.
Even Extreme tried harder.

I still have not bought anything, had plenty of chances too. There is plenty of everything around here.

I have bought a number of the ROC toys. Some of them are pretty cool--The Pit Viper, FireFly, Helix all of these look like they could easily fit into the regular modern era line. I am not buying all of them, but then neither did I buy all the 25th stuff. ibuy what I like.
ROC definitely has some major shortcomings, that is for sure. But some of the toys are still pretty cool. |

I'd rather have an STD than a single GI Joe Extreme figure.

Nice one =) You know how I like to make points. I often go to the "extreme" Har Har.
